This model is designed around the motif of the world-famous Japanese Daruma talisman. This motif was used because of the link between the Daruma's symbolism of always bouncing back and the G-SHOCK "never give up" identity. A lineup with the analog-digital GA-100 as the base model. The red face, black band, and small hand of the dial at the 12 o'clock position are designed with a Daruma motif to give the entire watch a Daruma look. A Daruma is also printed on the watch band ring. The Daruma motif and the package that incorporates it were designed by the BlackEyePatch label, which uses various methods from graffiti to apparel.
