The "BAR" value indicates the number of atmospheres to which water resistance is ensured. 20 BAR means water resistance to 20 atmospheres. Watches marked "200m" have the same water resistance as 20 BAR watches.

This ground-breaking CASIO system for analogue movements achieves multi-functionality and easy operability simultaneously through a combination of multiple motors and an electronic crown.
Tough Movement
Tough Movement
TOUGH MOVEMENT is a CASIO-original thin analog movement that is packed with a host of amazing features and functions. A MULTIBAND 6 function makes it possible for the watch to receive calibration signals for Japan (two signals), China, the United States, England, and Germany, for true international timekeeping. Movement durability and integrity are ensured by hybrid mount construction to protect against damage and by auto hand home position correction to keep settings accurate. A Tough Solar power system generates power from even small amounts of fl uorescent lighting and stores it in a secondary battery to help keep power-hungry functions running. The result is a totally new thin analog radio-controlled solar movement that embodies some of the very best technology that CASIO has to offer.
Tough Solar
Tough Solar
CASIO’s original solar-charging system converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other sources into power.

Features

Distinctive “Akazonae” red captures the essence of strength and power.
GPS Hybrid Radio-controlled Solar-powered*.

From the G-SHOCK MR-G flagship lineup, comes a new Akazonae theme model.
Akazonae was a special military unit during Japan's Warring States Period (Sengoku Jidai), whose armor and weapons were a distinctively uniform red color, which is said to have allowed commanders of elite troops to flaunt the valor of their soldiers.
The MRG-G1000B-1A4 features all of the toughness that has long been associated with the MR-G name, decorated with distinctive red coloring for the engraved lettering of the bezel, for city codes, and for various different components of the face.
Combining Akazonae red with G-SHOCK black creates a look of strength and power that spans the ages.

*GPS hybrid radio-controlled solar combines CASIO's own solar power charging system, positioning using the Global Positioning System (GPS), and reception of time calibration signals around the world.

The symbol of toughness and traditional Japanese beauty
Akazonae -Deep crimison color-
Akazonae was a military unit whose armor and weapons were a uniform red color. Its name has lived on through the ages because it was often used to allow elite troops known for their valor under exceptional commanders to stand out on the battlefield.
The strength and toughness represented by the Akazonae image for centuries has been incorporated into this model by using traditional Japanese crimson for the watch face, MR-G logo, second hand, dials, city codes, and other elements. This deep red evokes the aesthetic sense of Japan and expresses the intrepid toughness embodied in the color.
