The global showcase page for Casio projectors on LinkedIn includes case studies introducing the projectors and information on the sustainability and other benefits that Casio mercury-free light source delivers. Commentary from the people involved in the development, manufacture and sales of Casio projectors is also planned for the page to further communicate these features to a global audience.

“All Casio projector models are lamp-free, which reduces the amount of electricity they consume,” says Toshiyuki Iguchi, Executive Officer of Digital Signage, Casio Computer, Co., Ltd. “By choosing our projectors, users can make a contribution to sustainability and the environment. By launching this LinkedIn showcase page, we aim to effectively communicate this information to the business community.”

Casio is a leading manufacturer of solid-state illumination (SSI) light source projectors, holding a global market share of 73%* for SSI projectors with 2,500 lumens or more, which is bright enough to use in a fully lit room. Casio developed an SSI light source that uses Laser & LED technology ahead of its global competitors and succeeded in making all of its projectors lamp-free in 2010. As a result, Casio projectors no longer use lamps, which contain harmful mercury. They also come with various features that have become popular with consumers, including the Instant Power On/Off function.

Casio will leverage its LinkedIn showcase page and Facebook page , launched in June 2016, to communicate the latest information on lamp-free projectors to a global audience.
