This is the Monaco, a glittering jewel in the Formula One. It consists of azure coast and beautiful sight of the distinguished city. Monte Carlo is one of the most famous resorts and attracts the riches all over the world. Only this weekend, it is enclosed by miles of rails and the Formula One cars run through!
One centimeter closer, one millimeter closer... drivers try to push the car closer to the rails and the walls in order to go quicker. The more true ability of driver is required in this street, the brighter Sebastian's driving shines!
"You don't have a lot of room for mistakes and you need to be quite brave around here . It is difficult thing to push just as hard as on any other circuit as you have got the walls and the rails everywhere but good fun! There are some blind corners and you need to anticipate. You need to have a little bit of balls!"
A year ago, he did a fantastic drive here. He got 5th place from 19th grid in his first Monaco. Now he is a proven driver with two victories in this sport.
"Well, I think as a person I am still the same guy. I don't think I have changed much. Hopefully I have learnt a lot and I feel much more comfortable sitting in the car, driving the car and working together with the team. I get used to it and getting better I suppose"
But it was not his race this time. Tyre barrier put an end to his challenge in the middle of distance just same as the world champion sank into. "Of course it's disappointing to be here though the race is still going on!" he regretted. "But a mistake means a lot in Monaco and you have to pay the price" He admitted his mistake with no hesitation and his face was even with a piece of smile. He can face with own fault. Therefore he can learn from it and make himself better and better.
"There are a lot more races to come. Nothing is impossible. Of course it is important to stop Brawn GP winning. We would like to turn the whole thing around and basically start winning at the earliest possible opportunity. The target is to beat them and the target is to win the race, so to do so we need to bear everyone!"
His blue eyes looking at the next were shining brighter than the French Riviera, called Cote d'Azur. He shall return to this coast with much more brilliance one year later.
