October 13, 2009 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced today the release of the “G Presents Lover’s Collection 2009” — two limited-edition pairs of his and hers watches.
The Lover’s Collection of matching watches for couples features a G-Shock for him and a Baby-G for her. Since the release of the LOV-96 set in 1996, Casio’s popular gift watches for lovers have become a perennial favorite.
The LOV-09A and LOV-09B sets for 2009 include models with combined digital and analog displays, as well as digital-only models. The designs and colors for these paired G-Shock and Baby-G models are perfectly matched.
LOV-09A: Matching models with combination digital and analog displays
Using a base color of white to symbolize the purity and innocence of love, these matched watches are accented in “pink gold.” The face design evokes a romantic night sky, splashed with stars of differing sizes. The designs of the two watches are closely matched right down to the number and positioning of the stars. This set offers classic style for couples that want a discreetly matching accessory.
LOV-09B: Matching digital models with round LCDs in square faces
Both watches are rendered in vivid pink to express the intense bond between lovers, and are accented with metal parts above and below the faces.
