TOKYO, August 17, 2009 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., today announced receiving the EISA Award 2009-2010 in the European Travel Compact Camera category for its EXILIM® high-power, zoom-model digital camera EXILIM Hi-Zoom EX-H10. The EISA Awards are sponsored by the European Imaging and Sound Association. Casio’s EX-H10 is a high-zoom digital camera that packs 12.1 effective megapixels, a wide-angle 24mm 10X optical zoom lens (35mm film camera equivalent), a large 3.0-inch LCD monitor and a CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism into a thin, compact body. The EISA Awards applauded the EX-H10 for its exceptional integration of a high-power zoom lens, capable of responding to various photo subjects from a wide angle, into such a slim, compact body that users can easily carry around, as well as for its long-life battery to enable secure photo shooting without having to worry about recharging, and thus making it the perfect camera companion on vacation trips. The award ceremony is scheduled for September 4, 2009, in Berlin, Germany.
