Casio Introduces Ultra-Bright Super Slim Projectors
World’s Slimmest, Most Compact Projectors with 2,500 ANSI Lumens
No PC Needed for Presentations
XJ-S46
TOKYO, September 10, 2007 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today the release of two new ultra-bright models in the Super Slim Projector series. The new XJ-S46 and XJ-S41 are the world’s slimmest and most compact* data projectors with a brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens.

Original Casio technologies such as a high-efficiency compact light source and a single-fan, two-compartment cooling system are the secret to the diminutive size (volume: 2.3 liters; height: 43 mm) of the two new Super Slim Projectors, which both pack a powerful 2,500 ANSI lumens. Equipped with a wide-angle 2X zoom for maximum magnification, they are ideal for use in various spaces, from small meeting rooms to larger conference rooms and classrooms.

Main Features
Automatic keystone correction (vertical) makes projector placement easy
Direct power-on and power-off functions
True XGA (1,024×768) display and maximum SXGA+ (1,400×1,050) compressed display
Built-in speaker for videos and other media with audio
Easily adaptable for ceiling installation (special ceiling-installation lamp required)
Offers realistic color thanks to improved reproduction of white, primary colors and intermediate tones
The XJ-S46 comes with a built-in USB port, and can be used wirelessly or without a PC. The projectors can load and show many forms of data** with no PC connected, including presentations, spreadsheets, word processed documents, PDF files, still images (JPEG and BMP), and AVI format videos (compatible with MPEG4 and Motion JPEG). Or, an optionally available USB wireless adapter frees users to deliver presentations without having to stay near the projector. A Multifunctional Camera System (sold separately) can also be directly connected to the projectors without the need for a PC.
* For a projector with at least 2,500 ANSI lumens, according to a Casio survey as of September 10, 2007).
** Data from presentation, spreadsheet, and word processor software, and PDF files, must be converted using the bundled software for PC.
