TOKYO, June 11, 2007 — Continuing from last year, Casio Computer Co., Ltd., has decided to sponsor the Adventure Racing World Series (ARWorld Series) by making its outdoor watch, PRO TREK®, the official watch of the competition. In addition, to commemorate this collaboration Casio will release the PRG-110AR special model.
The outdoor watch PRO TREK was also the official watch of the ARWorld Series in 2006. PRO TREK goes on to participate in the 2007 competition, and Casio hopes to provide even more enthusiastic support than last year. Casio distributes the PRO TREK watch to all people related to the race affairs. Casio will use the opinions of the race organizers in future product development, and will utilize the world renowned image of the race itself to market and increase the brand value of the PRO TREK watch.
Also, this time, to commemorate its sponsorship of the ARWorld Series, Casio will release the special watch model PRG-110AR, which is based on the slim, solar-powered, triple-sensor watch, the
PRG-110. The PRG-110 includes 3 types of sensors to detect bearing, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature and also features a solar-powered system. At a thickness of only 11.5mm, the model still supports water resistance up to 100 meters. The coloring of the PRG-110, a navy blue body with light green function names matches well with the ARWorld Series logo. The back cover, band ring, and EL backlight illustration also utilize the logo to suit the special model’s design.

| About the ARWorld Series |
 |
Held in several countries over a year (9 countries in 2007), it is said to be the authentic adventure race. The world’s top professional teams gather to traverse oceans, mountains, jungles, deserts, glaciers and more in the great outdoors using only a compass and a course map to find their way. Co-ed teams composed of 4 people race for between 5 and 6 days over 200km – 400km. Challenging the limits of their intellectual and physical ability, they will be trekking, mountain biking, paddling, climbing and more all over the world. In 2007 the race will be held in, Poland, Spain, Scotland, South Africa, Australia, France, Brazil, Portugal and New Zealand. Casio’s PRO TREK brand has been sponsoring the same ARWorld Series since April 2006.
