TOKYO,
February 21, 2007 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced
today the release of a gold-colored G-SHOCK®
watch in the G-011 line. The new watch is the latest addition
to Casio’s new-style G-SHOCK “C3”
(C-cubed) series.
The C3 series, offered since October 2005, maintains
the rugged G-SHOCK look but sports an innovative design
that appeals to the fashion-conscious young people of today.
The three C’s stand for “creative, contemporary,
and conceptual.” C3 watches create a smart
look with bold forms and exciting colors, and are popular
with trend-setting young people who appreciate European
fashion.
The
newly released G-011BD-9ADR blends beautiful curves extending
from the case to the band with a linear-looking square face
for a pleasing three-dimensional effect. It also increases
the choice of metallic colors in the G-011 line. Ion plating*
is used on the entire watch body to achieve the gold finish,
and the dial is rendered in black. The combination of brilliant
gold and fearless black creates a stunning but rugged look.
The new model also boasts a full range of functions, including
a convenient world time display for 27 cities worldwide
and a stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, as well as
alarm and timer functions.
Accompanying the new gold watch, the silver G-011D-1ADR
also joins the G-011 line. It features an all-silver body
coupled with a black face dial.

rust, achieved through the use of ionized metal to apply
a hard coating in a vacuum.
