TOKYO,
September 20,2006 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd., announced
today several new models in its Baby-G® Sweet Poison
series of casual wristwatches for women. These new watches
exude an active, sexy image, with the rich gold accents
lending a real sense of presence.
Wristwatches
in the Sweet Poison range come equipped with the shock resistance
and water resistance that are expected features of a Baby-G.
With their highly individual use of color, any one of these
watches makes a great fashion accessory, and they are popular
among fashion-conscious young women in their early 20s.
Today’s newly introduced Baby-G Sweet Poison watches
feature a composite design, with a successful blend of metal
and resin materials. Designed to create an atmosphere that
is not only casual but also striking and sexy, the new models
use gold design elements around the bezel and the display,
as well as on the band and elsewhere. Four of the new models
impart an impressive golden sparkle to the wearer’s
wrist, and they can easily be worn as fashion accessories.
As with all Baby-G watches, the new models boast a great
set of features and functions. Among these is a 48-city
world time display for great convenience when traveling
overseas, as well as a 1/100 second stopwatch, an alarm
and a countdown timer.
In addition to the four watches featuring gold accents,
two of the new watches in the Sweet Poison series feature
silver accents and a design that makes the LCD shine like
jewelry, and the other emphasizes black. The complete new
model lineup is outlined below. |
