Casio signs Product License Agreement
with FIFA for the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM
February 25, 2005 – TOKYO JAPAN – Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has concluded a Product License Agreement with the world football governing body FIFA concerning the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM, which will start on June 9, 2006.

This Agreement grants Casio an exclusive worldwide license to sell watches and clocks bearing the Official Marks of the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM and FIFA Brand. Casio plans to release watches with the Official Emblem of the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM, FIFA Brand Licensee Emblem and images of FIFA World Cup Trophy, expanding the product lineup as the event approaches.

The FIFA World CupTM is one of the world’s biggest sporting events. Teams from 197 countries and regions around the world will participate in preliminary matches, with 32 national teams qualifying for the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM. This major month-long event is expected to attract a cumulative audience of approximately 30 billion TV viewers from around the world.

Casio concluded product license contracts for the 1994 FIFA World Cup USATM and the 1998 FIFA World Cup FranceTM, during which the company sold official licensed watches and clocks. Casio is once again pleased to have this golden opportunity to build Casio brand and products awareness by marketing official licensed watches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup GermanyTM around the globe.
