the release of the latest addition to the G-SHOCK line-up with the
GW-200TC G-LIDE TRIPLE CROWN, the official timepiece of The Association
of Surfing Professionals 2005 Triple Crown of Surfing. Only Casio’s
most extreme watch is up to the challenge of the world’s most
extreme surfing competition.
The Triple Crown of Surfing is a three-event big-wave surfing series
held on the North Shore of Oahu every December, and represents the
ultimate endurance test for surfers, demanding world-class skills,
courage, and resilience from all participants.

such an event, only the G-LIDE TRIPLE CROWN is up to the challenge.
Based on the FROGMAN model, the G-LIDE TRIPLE CROWN represents the
toughest watch in Casio’s entire G-SHOCK line-up—the ultimate
in extreme sports watches for the ultimate in extreme surfing events.
The G-LIDE TRIPLE CROWN boasts ISO certified water resistance to 200
meters, bringing added toughness to the already tough G-SHOCK package,
the ultimate in water resistance for the hardcore Triple Crown challenge.
The
G-LIDE TRIPLE CROWN features a distinctive asymmetrical design, a
case crafted from titanium with a watertight screw back case lid,
and a durable plastic resin bezel. The official Triple Crown logo
is printed on the band, case lid, and appears when the backlight is
on. The G-LIDE TRIPLE CROWN is available in three colors, two that
evoke the intensity of the ocean—navy blue and dark green—as
well as a red that reflects the passion of the contestants. The watchband
is fortified with a double buckle design for a comfortable and secure
fit.
