24, 2005, Tokyo, Japan – Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announces
a new series for the G-SHOCK lineup of tough and rugged wristwatches.
The new motor sports inspired G-SHOCK G-300 series is a collection
of analog-digital combination timepieces that captures the raw spirit
of motorcycle racing.
Since Casio’s inception of the G-SHOCK 22 years ago, it has
been on the edge of youth fashion. The G-SHOCK helped launch the watch
gear revolution, incorporating culture and the latest cool. Packing
the latest features and functions into a straightforward design, the
G-SHOCK has been pushing the boundaries of wristwatch design and technology.
The new G-300 series G-SHOCK timepieces’ are aggressively styled
with hybrid analog and digital displays. The watches capture the speed
and spirit of motor racing and are available with round or square
watch faces that evoke the red lining tachometer of a motorcycle.
The banding is offered with either tire tread pattern resin or riding
suit stitched leather. The sleek and sporty design of the G-300 series
make them the essential item for today’s high energy, fun-loving
youth.
