Casio to Release an Affordably Priced Lamp-Free Projector with 3000 Lumen Brightness

Lineup of Core Models Now Expanded

November 2, 2015

Manufactured at the Yamagata Premium Production Line in Japan to a superior standard and quality, the XJ-V2 utilizes advanced Solid State Illumination (SSI) Laser & LED light source technology to achieve power efficiency. It achieves 3,000 lumen brightness, compared to 2,700 lumen achieved by its XJ-V1 predecessor, while still maintaining a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Compared to conventional mercury lamp projectors, using the XJ-V2 results in lower energy consumption and maintenance costs. The Laser and LED Hybrid light source helps to prolong the projector’s usability and lifespan of up to 20,000 hours while reducing overall energy consumption by half, enabling educational institutions and businesses to save cost and reduce carbon footprint. By going lamp-free, there is no need to worry about routine maintenance brought about by wear and tear, contributing to a lower TCO and greater long-term cost savings.

Ease of installation and fuss-free maintenance

The XJ-V2 comes with a light and compact design that can be easily installed and conveniently mounted onto conventional universal ceiling mounts, without the hassle of additional heavy construction work, while the protective casing keeps its interior dust resistant for optimal performance at all times.

Once installed, it starts up within seconds and powers down immediately without a cooling down period as needed by conventional mercury lamp projectors.
