Casio Computer Co., Ltd. is proud to exhibit at Baselworld. Once again this year, we present to the world the groundbreaking ideas of the brightest minds in our timepiece business and the great products that these ideas have brought to the global market.
At Casio, we believe that the ultimate timepiece for a businessperson in today’s global age is one that always keeps accurate time anywhere in the world. Since 2014, Casio has been developing new watches under the development concept of “Global Time Sync.” From G-SHOCK and OCEANUS watches equipped with GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor technology that intelligently receive GPS and radio wave time-calibration signals, to EDIFICE watches that synchronize with a smartphone to local time, these watches have proven to be a hit with customers.
Casio has developed a new system that links with a smartphone to keep accurate time anywhere in the world, using Internet time servers. Our new EDIFICE and SHEEN watches to be released this year will be compatible with this system. Casio watches are continuing to evolve to synchronize with world time even better.
In addition to advanced features and innovative designs, Casio has further refined the beauty and appeal of our watches by giving even greater attention to materials and finishes, as we seek to further enhance the value of our watches as objects of ownership.
At this year’s Baselworld, Casio is showcasing premium metal analog watches in Hall 1.1, ranging from the ever-popular, high-end series MR-G and MT-G watches in the G-SHOCK family to the high-end OCEANUS brand. The display there focuses on our premium models, watches with features and construction employing cutting-edge digital technologies and manufacturing technologies developed at our Yamagata Casio Factory in Japan. We will also host our regular booth at Hall 1.2, where we will present the G-SHOCK, BABY-G, EDIFICE, PRO TREK, and SHEEN brands, as well as our WSD-F10 Smart Outdoor Watch, fresh off its exciting debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this January.
