This new model combines the best of the metal and resin styling that the MT-G lineup has to offer with limited-edition coloring and design elements that commemorate the G-SHOCK 30th Anniversary.
A new Core Guard Structure provides outstanding shock resistance. The metal bezel on the front of the watch and metal back cover create a frame that houses the inner workings of the watch to reduce the chance of impact force reading the watch's module. In addition, αgel is used at points of contact on the bezel and back cover to further absorb impact. All of this is in addition to G-SHOCK's renowned Triple G Resist structure.
The case and band surfaces are done to a hairline finish, while the beveled surfaces of parts are sallaz polished to a shiny finish. The red coloring of the inside band surface, gold colored buttons, and 30th Anniversary logo on the back cover are design variations that will be available for a limited time only. The large resin dial ring combines CASIO original cutting technology and new evaporation technology, and the band of watch is formed with highly durable fine resin panels, all of which enable both light weight, and outstanding resistance to shock and wear.
Core Guard Structure
Four stainless steel pipes join the bezel to the back of the case, forming a metal frame into which a resin case is installed to protect the module from direct impact. This Core Guard Structure creates a space for the module to basically "float", which minimizes direct of direct contact with the outside environment.
Layered Composite Band
Metal band parts combine with lightweight but highly durable fine resin for both a secure fit and lighter weight.
A four-layer, multi-dimensional face features oversize hour markers with protruding edges for easy reading. G-SHOCK original cutting and evaporation technologies contributed to the creation of an elegant resin form.
The bezel and beveled surfaces of the case are Sallaz polished to create beautiful mirror surfaces.
